• A portion of the sale of all Jockey Cap IPA pours and cans sold to-go will be donated to the USVLT.

Mason Irish, the brewery's owner, created Jockey Cap IPA to support the conservation of Jockey Cap - a Fryeburg icon. Thanks to the support of Saco River Brewing, USVLT received $3,000 from Jockey Cap IPA sales in 2022. And, with their help showcasing the project, even more folks know about the importance of protecting this special place! 

USVLT is now the owner of the portion of Jockey Cap that was held privately and is working through the transaction process toward the end goal of transferring ownership to the Town of Fryeburg. A conservation easement, held by USVLT, will be placed on all 15+ acres of Jockey Cap to ensure the land will be protected forever. The anticipated closing will take place later this fall.
