Keep Me in the LoopConsidering Climate Change in Land Conservation Workshop Part II
What does climate change mean for land conservation in the MWV? Please join Erika Rowland, the Conservation Lands Manager at the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust (USVLT), and forester and USVLT Board Member, Dan Stepanauskas, on Saturday, June 2nd at 9am for a field trip on the “East Bear Paw” lands owned by Tin Mountain Conservation Center and protected with a conservation easement held by USVLT. They will be meeting on the property, located on the south side of Route 302, ¼ mile before the New Hampshire-Maine border. Dan will lead a tour of the forest management work on the property, and Erika will speak about what role climate change adaptation plays in the future management of forest land in New England. The field trip is part of USVLT’s ongoing Easement Exploration Series.
