A conservation easement on the Morgan property permanently protects over 11 acres and 1,000 feet of undisturbed, forested shoreline on Conway Lake in Eaton, NH from development.

“For sixty-seven years we have been proudly protecting our portion of the shores of Conway Lake and the woodland behind it. We have been distressed at the invasion of shoreline cottages and houses during that time and fear that unless the land is protected, future generations will never have the opportunity to enjoy what we have enjoyed. Large conservation agencies cannot afford to be interested in small parcels like ours (11.35 acres), so we welcomed the creation of the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust as guardian of the natural beauty of our small part of the country, enabling us to keep our land doing its part for natural beauty in a crowded world.” – Ed & Marie Morgan
