Andrews Preserve
Preserve
Public Access
December 16, 2008
Named after Fryeburg's Andrews family, who donated the 12-acre property to USVLT, the preserve abuts the Major Gregory Sanborn Wildlife Management Area (previously known as Brownfield Bog WMA), as well as the Fryeburg Rail Trail. It adds to a sizable "habitat block" of undeveloped land, important for wide-ranging species and ecological processes.
